Since it is important for impurities to be cleansed from our body in order to effectively treat many diseases, our programs emphasize body detoxification.

OUR DETOX PROGRAM

We focus on educating people to ascertain the cause of disease, change unhealthful conditions, correct wrong habits, and assist nature in her effort to expel impurities and to restore right conditions in the body.

 

Natural remedies, in conjunction with a healthy lifestyle, are an effective means of treating many of today’s diseases. However, to do so, it is important for all impurities to be cleansed from our body. For this reason, our program is specifically focused on body detoxification.

Living Springs Retreat is a home-like retreat that has been using natural health principles to help the body heal itself. It was established for the purpose of educating individuals in the principles of healthful living. 

These principles are conceptualized in the acronym SUSTAIN ME as follows:

  • Use of water (hydrotherapy and hydration)

  • Sunshine (Listed twice or combined with another foundational habit, focusing on light exposure)

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Reservations

Reservations for our wellness programs can be made by calling 1-256-449-2628 between 9:30-6:00 PM, CST from Monday to Thursday and between 9:30-1:00 PM, CST on Friday. To ensure we can accommodate you on your preferred dates, we recommend that you make your reservation at least two to four weeks in advance of your intended arrival date. You may of course book with shorter notice, subject to availability.

Reservation Policy

  • Deposit of $500 is required to secure your reservation

  • ​​Full balance is payable on arrival

  • Deposits are non-refundable

  • Deposit may be transferred to a later program if transferred 7 days before original reservation​

  • Payment is non-refundable once program has commenced

  • ​All Prices are in United States dollars (USD).

Arrival and Departure

All programs begin on a Sunday. Check-in time is between 9 AM-12 PM, CST. Check-out time is the following Sunday between 9-10 AM, CST. Early Check-in available on Saturday after 5 PM CST at an additional cost. Please let us know if your circumstances may require an exception.

Travel Arrangements

We offer complimentary bus, train and airport pick-ups and drop-offs during specific time frames ONLY. Due to our distance from the Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson Airport, and the fact that we operate under a different time zone, pick-ups and drop-offs to Atlanta area need to be during specific time frames.

Rooms/Accommodations 

Single and double occupancy rooms are available. We also offer private and semi-private suites. Accommodations can be made for family members and/or couples.

Medications and/or Supplements

We ask that you bring any medications and/or supplements that you are currently taking, and enough for the time you are with us as we respect the recommendations given to you by your physician. Although frequently our health guests do manage to reduce their medications as their body heals, the rate at which this happens is different for each individual.

If you are a diabetic, please bring: 1) your glucose monitor 2) sufficient strips for your period of stay (testing 4-6 times per day) and 3) sufficient lancets.

 

What to Bring

  • Personal toiletries

  • Dietary supplements and medications

  • Diabetics: glucose monitor, sufficient strips and lancets for your period of stay (testing 4-6 times per day)

  • Comfortable walking shoes

  • Bathing suit/trunks

  • Shower cap if desired

  • Dress is casual; however, please choose clothing for comfort and modesty 

  • A raincoat, boots, light jacket (for cool evenings)

  • Warm comfy jacket, hat and gloves (for cold weather)

  • Nightgown/pajamas

  • Robe and slippers will be provided

  • Linens and towels are provided.

 

What NOT to bring

  • Junk food, caffeinated products, tobacco or alcohol products.

  • Illicit drugs or substances that can be used to alter consciousness.

  • Weapons of any kind such as guns, knives, brass knuckles, etc.

  • Candles, incense or anything that has a naked flame or produces smoke.

  • Thank you for adhering to our smoke-free, drug-free, alcohol-free, and weapon-free policy.

Laundry Facility

Our laundry facility have washers and dryers available for our guest.

An iron and ironing board are available in each room.

Pets

​We do not allow pets out of consideration for others who come who may have allergies.

Telephones/Messages

​Cell phone use is very limited as we are in a very remote location. However, Verizon works well.

You may let family and friends know that they are welcome to call you at 1-256-449-2628 prior to 8:00 PM.

However, please plan ahead to reduce unnecessary business contacts during this time.

We want you to be able to rest and relax from the everyday stresses of life.

Guest Graduation

A specially planned graduation will be held Saturday evening. Semi-formal attire is suggested but is not required.
